That's enough energy to power a 25W light bulb for 1 second.

By implanting a small neodymium magnet underneath your fingertip, you can establish a sixth sense - that of magnetic fields.

I find body modification very troubling and disgusting, but this is pretty cool.

EDIT: Turns out much the same effect can be achieved by just wearing neodymium on the end of your finger. I'd love the idea of working with AC-connected loads and being able to tell whether or not they're live without proper testing.

Look at this chancer. A watch strap just wasn't good enough for him:

Coincidentally, the total world production of antimatter is about able to power a lightbulb.

Yeah, I think there's two very separate groups implanting magnets in their hands — there's the "radical bodymodders" who, as always, can get right the CUNT out and there's people working with HVAC who use it as a safety device and I think that's quite cool.

The Treaty of Versailles was signed in a rail car, which was kept as a monument in France for many years. Roughly 22 years later, in June of 1940, Hitler made the French sign their surrender in that same rail car. Four years later, just before the Allies liberated France, Hitler had the rail car monument dynamited and destroyed to prevent the French from making Germany sign another treaty in there.

In February 2011, Cage claimed to have created a new method of acting he calls "Nouveau Shamanic". He claims to have used the acting style throughout his career and one day plans to write a book about the method.

The sexual habits of penguins were considered unpublishable when they were first discovered.

I'm not surprised, the opening line to this is "It was the sight of a young male Adélie penguin attempting to have sex with a dead female that particularly unnerved George Murray Levick"

The original version of the video game Pirates had four difficulty levels and an additional, hidden one which was applied if you failed the copy prevention check and made the game extremely difficult.
